I wanted this album to be quite different to my debut album, Unspoilt By Daylight. The general idea was to use vintage drum machines for beats (rather than sampled loops) and more analogue synths for sounds to provide some 'colour' to each track. The result is an instrumental album that has more of a 'theme' to it, which is what I was after from the outset. It could loosely be described as spacey, retro synth pop!

While the intention of using the drum machines was to provide tight, metronomic beats, I think there's quite a bit of feeling in the album that comes from the variety of synth textures used and different arrangements.
Give the tracks a listen and hopefully you'll get as much enjoyment out of them as I had creating them...
